At the northern end of Follonica and roughly 2.5 km from Le Dune lies a historical tower converted into a hotel, situated on the Gulf of Follonica with calm, shallow waters. This is due to a Roman road which surfaces around ten metres from the coast, creating a kind of natural swimming pool sheltered from waves and currents.
