A walking and cycling path starts from Putone marina, passing through the Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve to the picturesque bays of Cala Martina, Cala Violina and Cala Civette, then leading to the Punta Ala beaches. Very popular with visitors in the summer months, the bays can also be reached by car: head towards Castiglione della Pescaia, about 7 km from La Residenza del Golfo, and follow the signs on the right to the car park. From here walk for 30 minutes through the Maremma scrub vegetation.
